The Christian Musician Summit conferences exist to provide practical training, equipping and resources for musicians, worship leaders, technicians, pastors, songwriters, and independent artists in order to improve skill and inspire talent for God's glory.
Our History
The Christian Musician Summit was co-founded by Bruce Adolph, president of the Adolph Agency, Inc., and Matt Kees, president of Christian Musician Summit, Inc. Bruce Adolph has been publishing magazines since 1996 as the president of The Adolph Agency, Inc. He currently publishes Worship Musician Magazine. He is also the producer of the Seattle-Tacoma Guitar Show in Kent, and a co-creator of the Tacoma Guitar Festival which takes place at the Tacoma Dome in May. Before moving up to the Puget Sound in the Northwest, he worked as the general manager of a musical instrument store in Los Angeles. Matt Kees has been in the conference business since 2002. From 1993 to 2008, Matt was on staff at Our Savior Lutheran in Tacoma, WA. From 2008 to 2012, he worked full time as the Director of the CMS. In 2016, Matt was brought on as the Minister of Technical Arts at OSLC. He is the production + layout designer for Adolph Agency, Inc. In addition, he is a music producer, songwriter and musician. These two met in 2002 when Matt was in the process of producing his small, regional conference called Worship More. They thought it would be a cool idea to combine their talents and passions. In 2003, they produced their very first conference called the Christian Musician Summit. Since then they have produced dozens of conferences around the country... Seattle, WA; Buffalo, NY; Sacramento, CA; Nashville, TN; Scottsdale, AZ. Throughout the years, CMS Productions has produced a variety of resources including DVD training tools, video streaming, and an online-store. As of 2016, CMS has downsized to 1 conference per year in the Northwest. The CMS is based out of Puyallup, WA. |
