The Christian Musician Summit (aka CMS) is a two-day conference for lead worshipers, musicians, technicians, pastors, songwriters & indie artists to improve their skill and inspire their talent.
REGISTRATION
Registering for the 2-day Summit gains you access to the workshop sessions, the general sessions, the exhibition halls, and both evening concerts. Registration badges will have assigned seats for the evening concerts. General sessions and workshops will continue to be general admission.
The main floor will again be for registrants only. Additional 'concert only tickets' may be purchased for the balcony only.
Registration does not cover the cost of food, travel or lodging. WORKSHOPS
The CMS 2008 will offer over 100+ workshops in the following tracks... > Leadership/Teams > Vocals > Guitar > Bass > Drums/Percussion > Keyboards > Winds/Strings > Songwriters > Indie Artists > Audio > Video > Lighting PRESENTERS

EXHIBIT HALLS
In addition to workshops, the CMS offers registrants access to 90 Exhibit booths. Everything from musical instruments, to record labels, to audio gear, to software, to hardware, to installation professionals.
LOCATION
This 2-day event will take place at Overlake Christian Church in Redmond, WA; the largest church campus in the state of Washington. Please do not send any correspondence to the church. Instead, send all correspondence to CMS Productions. POLICIES
CHILDREN & INFANT POLICY We do not provide a special rate for children. Though there are many talented young musicians, we recommend that children 12 and under, as well as infants, not attend the conference. If you are a nursing mother and must bring your infant, please repsect the other registrants by leaving a workshop, session or concert if your baby becomes disruptive. Children are welcome to attend the evening concerts. Again, please respect other attendees by taking your child out if they become distracting. RECORDING Audio or video recording the workshops, sessions and/or concerts is prohibited, due to licensing issues. INSTRUMENTS There are a few workshops for guitar, bass and strings where presenters encourage attendees to bring their instrument. Please do so. Please note, however, that neither the CMS nor Overlake Christian Church are responsible for lost or stolen property. We do not have a 'storage' facility, so guitars will have to be held or stored at your own risk. CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY If you are unable to attend, you have a couple of options. You can either switch over your registration to another individual, or you can contact us for an 90% refund. We retain 10% of the registration fee to cover various service fees. Cancellations will not be refunded after October 29, 2010 (2 weeks prior to the event). |
